The short version
This product runs on a handful of small, happy details about a child. It does not need personal data, so we do not collect it.
What we ask you for
Your email address, so we can send you the video and a receipt. The child’s first name, how to pronounce it, and an age range. The one or two details you choose to tell Santa.
Payment is handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
What we never ask for
A surname. A date of birth. A home address. A school. Medical information. A phone number. A photograph of the child. Any government identifier. We ask you not to send these, and if you do, we may remove them before the video is made.
What we do with it
We use the details to write and produce the video, to deliver it to you, to answer your questions, and to handle refunds. We do not sell your information and we do not use your child’s details to advertise to anyone.
Who else touches it
To make and deliver your video we rely on a small number of service providers: a payment processor, hosting and storage, an email service, and the systems that produce the audio and video. They may process your details only to provide that service to us.
Keeping it, and deleting it
We keep your video and its details so you can watch and download it again. Ask us to delete them and we will, though the video will stop working once we do. Download anything you want to keep first.
Children
This is bought by an adult and watched by a child. Children do not create accounts, sign in, or enter anything on this site. When you order, you confirm you are 18 or older and have permission to make this gift for the child.
Your video is private
Each video sits behind a long, unguessable link. We ask search engines not to index those pages. Anyone you send the link to can watch it, so share it the way you would share a family photo.
If we have made a mistake producing your video, report it from the private page where you watch it.
